Preventative Health Exam
What does it involve?

Complete Laboratory work-up including screening for diabetes, elevated cholesterol, thyroid, anemia, kidney and liver disease

Full physical examination including breast exam, body mass index and EKG

Assessment of cardiovascular and cancer risk

One-on-one education about common health risks and conditions
-
Vaccine updating and referrals to specialists, when necessary or desired
How do I prepare?

Allow yourself about an hour to spend with the doctor
-
Prepare a medication list and a list of questions
-
Bring any new information such as results from other physicians
-
Bring results of your home blood pressures, if requested
-
Bring any forms you need completed

Women - know when your last menstrual cycle began
