The Procedure

Chemical peels are deep exfoliants that are specially formulated for to address the specific needs of your skin. They are used to firm and tone and reduce wrinkles or address acne, oily skin, discoloration and large pores. The peel procedure takes about thirty minutes. Typically multiple peels are recommended at 2-3 week intervals to optimize the results.

Science and Technology

We offer Glycolic 30% (Alpha Hydroxy Acid - AHA), Glycolic 60%,Solicylic Acid 30%, Triplex and Modified Jesner 14% peels. All peels are simple organic acids found in nature in fruits or plants. Acid peels have been used for decades and can even be traced back to Ancient Egypt. Cleopatra was famous for her milk baths and milk contains lactic acid. Acid peels accelerate the removal of dead skin cells and stimulated the re-growth of skin and collagen, leaving behind smoother more beautiful skin.

Glycolic 30% - A chemical exfoliant to promote the repair and regeneration of skin. Recommended to aid in the elimination of sun spots, improves the appearance of aging skin and uneven texture and tone.

Salicylic 30% - An antiseptic exfoliant that deeply cleanses pores. Excellent treatment for acne and aids in overall skin rejuvenation. Best for acne grades I & II, sun damaged, hyperpigmentation, aging skin, rough skin .

Modified Jessner 14% - A synergy of effective acids to help reduce the appearance of melasma, freckles, acne and mild cases of rosacea. Best for aging skin, sun damaged, hyperpigmentation, acne grades I & II, mild rosacea .

Triplex - A combination treatment to enhance skin tone and texture while purifying blemish-prone skin. Recommended for acne, congestion, breakouts, fine lines, photodamaged, hyperpigmentation.

Glycolic 60% - An aggressive chemical exfoliant to promote the repair and regeneration of skin. Recommended to aid in the elimination of actinic keratosis and to improve the appearance of aging skin. Best for aging skin, acne grades I & II, sun damaged, hyperpigmentation, ingrown hairs.

Preparation

Prior to an acid peel you should discontinue all Retin-A, Renova, glycolic acids, vitamin C products, and anything else which can be irritating, for three days before treatment.

Care

After your peel you can return to normal activities, though you may experience slight redness for up to 24 hours. For your comfort, a calming serum, deep moisturizer and sunblock with SPF 30 will be applied. Continuing this regimen and avoiding the sun will provide you with the best possible results.
